This year, a team of more than 120 racers will support the Chaîne de l’Espoir Belgique by running the Brussels 20 km’s run.

The amount collected by the runners this year will be allocated to two projects:

The pediatric orthopaedic surgery missions which will take place in May and June 2019 in Wote Pamoja and Kilwa in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Our voluntary medical teams will have the opportunity to operate on and to cure many children suffering from lower limb malformations – discover this project.

2 children who will be operated on in Belgium: Bienvenu, 2 years old, coming from Congo Brazzaville and suffering from a kidney malformation, and a child from Rwanda with a heart condition – details to come

Registrations are closed. Should you wish to participate, do not hesitate to send us a mail to catherine.depierpont@chaine-espoir.be. If some participants give up before the race, we will get back to you.
Confirm your enrolment by paying 40€ on the bank account of la Chaîne de l’Espoir Belgique: BE28 0882 1265 5620. Please add as communication “enrolment 20km run 2019 + your family name and your first name”. This amount covers your participation to the race/your race number, the team t-shirt and the organisation for the day (changing room and cloack room near start area, snack).

Make sure you support la Chaîne de l’Espoir Belgique by asking friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you (for each km run, for the total race, for your time challenge…) and create your fundraising page on line on the website dono.be. If you prefer, you can also send your supporters an email or what’s app message with a request to sponsor you, with a link to our website and facebook page, and the bank account of la Chaîne de l’Espoir BelgiqueBE28 0882 1265 5620. You will receive a list of all your supporters after the race.

All practical information for the race (how to order your t-shirt, get your race number, receive statement of amounts collected by your sponsors, meet-up on the day of the race) will be confirmed by email to you upon receipt of your payment and after the final date for enrolment (March 29^th).
