You wish to welcome a child in your own family and to give him the opportunity to be cured in Belgium?

The Chain of Hope Belgium welcomes children each year to be operated on in Belgium. These children were seen by our teams of volunteers doctors during their missions abroad but could not be treated on over there.

These children come to Belgium without their parents to be operated on of a heart malformation, or of other types of malformations. After hun operation in the hospital, they are staying for a period of 6 to 8 weeks in a Host Family, before they travel back to their home country.

The Chain of Hope Belgiums works with the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels or in the UZ Ghent.

What is your role?

To care for the Chain of Hope child during his stays at the hospital and after, during his revalidation, at home. You must come to the hospital for regular check-ups during the revalidation period.

What do we expect from you?

You must be willing to take care of a sick child, to live with him in your family for a period of 6 to 8 weeks, and you need to be available for him during his stay.

Please read first our Charte des Familles d’AccueilHandvest voor Onthaalfamilies.

If you agree with our philosophy, and wish to share this extraordinary human adventure with us, get in touch to meet with infokids@chain-hope.be or call us at + 32 (0)2 764 20 60
