The teams of Chain of Hope Belgium are back from their medical mission in pediatric surgery in Benin and have seen many children in consultation, and could cure as many as 39 children from various ear, nose and throat illnesses.

Here are the words of Patricia, who participated for the first time as volunteer surgeon to a mission with Chain of Hope Belgium :

“I loved so much working during our mission. Patients had been screened by Frère Florent before our arrival, so we could start working as of day 1. The opening hours for our consultations were “without limit”, so we could work on a very efficient surgery planning, which was as intense as you can imagine, providing for some very difficult operations as well.

I will never forget the smiles these little patients offered us !
